Berger: Why it may be time to buy emerging market stocks

Serge Berger thinks it may be time to buy emerging market stocks as there are signs they may be oversold.

Berger is looking for exposure in emerging markets via the EEM ETF, which is down around 35% since April due in part to the strong USD, he says. On Friday, the EEM closed down 4%. 

From a technical perspective, Berger says he is getting more and more oversold readings. If he sees a bullish reversal and Friday’s price gap getting filled, he is looking to buy at USD 29 with a stop of USD 27 and a target of USD 31.50.
