Profits are harder to come by in the commodity markets today. No longer will broad exposure to a wide sweep of commodities bring in the money.  You've got to be more savvy.
Saxo Bank's Head of Commodity Strategy, Ole Hansen, says to make a good profit, you've got to be more cunning.  He says there are still major opportunities out there but you've got to consider much more than perhaps you used to.
