Berger: Trading the Russell 2000: the earnings season opportunity

Serge Berger, from thesteadytrader.com, is looking at the Russell 2000. A small cap index which he sees offering an earnings season opportunity.
Serge thinks last week was largely a non-event for US equities, although the markets held up technically.
Earnings season really kicks into gear this week after the so called 'waiting season' and while most US Indices help up technically, the Russell 2000 under-performed.
Serge sees "good risk reward in a clearly defined time frame" with an intention to get out mid week when earnings season gathers momentum.

Buy: near last Fridays close 1160

Stop: 1140 around 200 day moving average
