Hit the gas! Deep freeze warning sparks price spike

Commodities and all sectors have seen weakness this week so the spike in the gas price, up 14% on the week, stands out sharply. Head of Commodity Strategy Ole Hansen predicts that prices could rise as high as 6.50 USD per therm as they did in January and February when the US experienced one of the coldest winters on record.

The bearish trends in oil and gold continue with the latest US jobs data and an OPEC meeting later this month the only apparent possible opportunities for market changes in direction.

Ole also talks us though his trade tip for Gold which is still struggling to get back to previous key support around 1180.
