Blackrock investment strategist Wei Li gives us her update on the global Exchange Traded Products landscape. The firm's latest ETP figures for April make interesting reading, highlights include a pick up in emerging market flows with broad EM equity funds gathering USD 2.5 billion and renewed enthusiasm for fixed income amid global growth concerns.

Global ETP inflows moderated to USD 6.5 billion in April according to Blackrock meanwhile US equity outflows accelerated to USD 15.5 billion reflecting "weakness for both large and small cap funds".

The ETP overview reveals global investment trends which are well worth analysing as part of portfolio research.
