Just what is going on in the FX markets this Friday and why does USD continue to look fairly weak when most fundamental signs point to dollar strength? It's something of a conundrum for Saxo Bank's Head of FX Strategy, John Hardy, who takes a look at what's really going on in the forex markets as we come to the end of another week. 
John suggests we could be seeing a lot of positioning-inspired moves ahead of a public holiday in the States on Monday. And when traders look to EURUSD or USDJPY, they may have to be a little more patient before the dollar reasserts itself.
