Boye: Bond markets calm before Greek storm

There is a sense of calm before the storm in the bond markets ahead of the Greek referendum on July 5th, when voters will decide on whether to accept or reject the terms of a proposed bailout for Greece, says Saxo Bank’s Michael Boye.

He also looks at how markets may react to either a Yes or a No from the Greek people to a deal with Greece’s international creditors. Markets expect a Yes, but Michael says uncertainty may remain as such an outcome could lead to the resignation of the current government, which has campaigned for a No.
