Faraday Research analyst Thomas Light assesses possible trading strategies for Cable in a week which will see big events for both GBP and USD. On Thursday Scottish voters will decide if Scotland should be an independent nation while on Wednesday Janet Yellen is due to reveal the Fed's latest predictions and announce an interest rate decision. 
Sterling slipped slightly on Monday but seemed to stay above the previous week's lows. The markets expect the Fed to continue its reduction of the asset purchase programme.
